  • How often and how long is each lesson?
Lessons are taught once weekly and I offer 30-minute and 1-hour lessons that you can choose from. The pricing structure is personalized to the student. 30-minute lessons are perfect for kids up through age 11; 1-hour long blocks are sufficient for ages 12 and up. I can customize your plan if you prefer longer sessions.

I recommend practicing at least 30-minutes to 1-hour daily for optimal results.

  • How do you feel about wrong notes, mistakes, and slow learners?
I understand that everyone learns at their own pace, therefore I practice patience during our training. I understand mistakes happen while playing music, so I always offer the tools you need to learn piano in a way you best understand. I only ask that you put in the effort and do your best.
  • What methods do you use to teach piano?
My method varies depending on the needs of each student. I begin with an evaluation to see what you know and then I recommend a particular lesson plan via books and songs to practice that we will use as part of your curriculum. These range from beginner to intermediate and advanced.
  • Where will the lessons take place?
I work with you to select a mutual location that is comfortable for you and I visit you to provide your piano lessons. Recommended locations would be your residence, a church, or classroom where there is no noise disturbance. For convenience, online lessons are also available.
